-16th Sunday after Pentecost-

Pastor Andy Stanley (North Point Community Church) once said, “Friendship will determine the direction and quality of all of our lives.” And isn’t that true? The friends we surround ourselves with influence who we become, the choices we make, and even the closeness of our walk with God.

Today, we’re going to look at friendship in the Bible. It is filled with examples of the beauty of true friendship, the danger of foolish friendship, and finally, the ultimate example of friendship we find in Jesus Christ.

Faith cannot be lived out alone. We must walk the journey of the cross together with others. As we walk this path side by side, I pray that we may become friends to one another, reflecting the love of Jesus.

-성령강림후 열 여섯째 주일-

노스포인트 커뮤니티 교회의 앤디 스탠리 목사님이 이런 말씀을 하신 적이 있습니다.
“어떤 친구를 사귀는지에 따라 우리 삶의 방향과 질을 결정됩니다.” 참 맞는 말인것 같습니다. 우리가 어떤 친구와 함께하느냐에 따라 우리가 어떤 사람이 되어가는지, 어떤 선택을 내리는지, 또 하나님과 얼마나 가까이 동행하는지가 달라집니다.

오늘은 성경에 나타난 우정에 대해 함께 나누려 합니다. 참된 우정의 아름다움, 잘못된 우정의 위험, 그리고 마지막으로 우리에게 최고의 친구가 되어주신 예수 그리스도의 모습을 보려고 합니다.

신앙은 스스로 혼자 할수 없습니다. 누군가와 함께 십자가의 여정을 같이 해야 합니다. 그길을 함께 걸어가는 여정에 있는 우리들, 서로에게 예수님같은 친구가 되어 주기를 기도합니다.
