*사순절 셋째 주일*

"예수님께서는 극도로 연약한 순간에도 유혹을 이겨내심으로써 그분의  거룩함을 나타내셨습니다. 아담과 하와는 유혹에 굴복하여 사망에 이르렀지만, 예수님께서는 하나님의 뜻에 순종하는 것을 통해 참된 생명을 주셨습니다. 사탄의 시험을 이기심으로써 예수님은 하나님의 아들이심을 확증하셨을 뿐만 아니라, 이후 세상의 죄를 구속하시기 위해 자신을 희생하실 것을 예고하셨습니다. 예수님은 완전한 희생제물이자 속죄양이 되셔서 우리의 죄를 짊어지시고, 우리가 하나님과 화목할 수 있도록 하셨습니다.”

내일 예배시간에 예수님께서 유혹을 받으시며 광야로 내몰리신 사건과 '속죄양'의 의미를 깊이 묵상하고자 합니다. 함께 예배드리며, 우리를 위해 속죄양이 되신 예수님과 더욱 깊은 관계를 맺는 시간을 가지길 기도합니다.

1. 금주 금요일은 성경공부가 있습니다. 고등부 - 3과, 중등부 - 20, 21과

2. 40일 사순절 찰런지를 계속 이어 나갑니다. 말씀묵상과 미디어 금식을 잘 해 나갈수 있도록 관심 가져 주십시오. 소예배당에 작은 기부함이 있습니다. 모인 기부금은 산호제 YMCA 유스프로그램에 전달될 예정입니다.

3. 어린이부 여름성경학교 봉사자를 받습니다. 8월 7-9일 (목-토)

  • 모든 성경학교 봉사자 첫 모임 오리엔테이션이 4월 6일 오후 1:30분에 씨엠방에서 있습니다.

4. 성금요예배를위한그림묵상그리기가 4월 11일금요모임때진행됩니다.

*4th Sunday in Lent*

“Jesus’ resistance to temptations, even when He was utterly vulnerable, set Him apart. Unlike Adam and Eve, who succumbed to temptation, Jesus demonstrated that true life is found in obedience to God. By triumphing over the devil’s deceptions, He not only affirmed His identity as God’s Son but also indicated the sacrifice He would later make to redeem the sins of the world. Jesus became the ultimate sacrificial scapegoat, a living, perfect offering who carried the burden of our sins so that we might find reconciliation with God.”

We are going to examine the meaning of “Scapegoat” as Jesus being sent out to the wilderness as He was tempted. Please come and worship, and make a meaningful connection with Jesus who had become the scapegoat for all of us.

2. Please continue the 40-day Lenten Challenge. Do your best on our devotions and media fast. There is a small donation box in the narthex. Donations collected at the end of the Lent will go to the San Jose YMCA Youth Program.
