사순절을 위한 영성훈련은 오랜 세월 동안 발전하고 전해져 내려왔습니다. 오늘날에도 사순절이 가져다 주는 의미는 중요합니다. 넘치는 정보, 대중 매체, 끊임없는 오락, 즉각적인 만족의 유혹, 그리고 성취에 대한 지속적인 압박이 가득한 세상에서 진정한 고요와 성찰의 순간을 찾는 일은 쉽지 않습니다. 사순절은 그 모든 소음으로 부터 잠시 멈추어 진정으로 중요한 것이 무엇인지 곰곰이 생각해볼 수 있는 체계적인 시간을 제공합니다. 사순절은 우리 스스로에게 어려운 질문을 던지도록 도전합니다. 우리가 진정으로 갈망하는 것은 무엇인가? 우리는 물질적 소유나 덧없는 즐거움이라는 형태의 빠른 해결책을 찾고 있는가, 아니면 하나님과의 더 깊고 변화시키는 관계를 갈망하고 있는가?를 질문합니다. 재의 수요일을 시작으로 40일의 사순절 여정이 시작됩니다. 예수 그리스도의 고난에 동참하는 마음으로 매일 말씀의 묵상과 기도와 절제로 영과 육이 회복되는 귀한 시간이 되기를 기도합니다.

4.이번주 재의 수요일로 시작하여 사순절이 시작됩니다. 우리 친구들이 40일 사순절 도전 (말씀묵상/영성일기 쓰기 혹은 말씀쓰기, 미디어금식)을 할수 있도록 독려해 주시길 부탁드립니다.

No matter how long this spiritual practice developed and passed down, even in our modern day, the message of Lent is more than relevant. In a world filled with overflowing information over mass media, endless entertainment, lure of instant gratifications, and constant pressure to achieve, it can be challenging to find moments of true stillness and reflection. Lent offers a structured time to pause and consider what really matters. It challenges us to ask ourselves difficult questions: What are we really hungry for? Are we seeking quick fixes in the form of material possessions or fleeting pleasures, or are we longing for a deeper, transformative relationship with God?

With the beginning of Ash Wednesday, the 40-day Lenten journey begins. I pray that this will be a precious time of spiritual and physical renewal through daily meditation on the Word, prayer, and fasting, as we partake in the suffering of Jesus Christ.
