-World Communion Sunday-

Jesus spoke: “I am the bread of life. Whoever believes in me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” 

Even when people rushed to satisfy their own needs first, Jesus gave what was His. Even when selfishness pushed some to the margins, His gaze always found the one left behind. At that moment, most of the crowd didn’t understand what He was saying…

When we turn our gaze toward heaven, we begin to see a life greater than our own. We breathe again with the breath that comes from God. We can choose the eternal life that Jesus offers and walk with Him.

This Sunday, we gather once again to share the Lord’s Table. I pray that our hearts are illuminated by His light of Grace.

1. Friday Gathering continues this Friday. This week - Sports Day at San Jose High. We’ll gather at church by 7 PM and will return to church by 9:30PM

2. CM’s Fall Festival - Oct. 31, 6 PM. Our youth will volunteer for help around the festival.

“내가 생명의 떡이다. 나를 믿는 사람은 영원히 굼주리지 않고 목마르지 않을 것이다.”

사람들이 자신의 것을 먼저 채울때도 예수님은 먼저 그분의 것을 주셨습니다. 사람들의 이기심에 몰려 자리를 빼앗긴 사람에게 그분은 늘 시선을 두셨습니다. 그때는 많은 사람들이 몰랐겠지요. 예수님이 하신 이 말씀이 무슨 뜻이었는지 말입니다…

우리는 우리의 시선을 하늘에 돌릴때, 우리의 삶보다 더 위대한 삶을 볼수 있을때, 숨을 쉴수 있습니다. 영원한 삶을 바라보고 주님을 선택할수 있습니다. 

이번주 모든 세대가 연합하여 주님의 성찬을 나눌때 그 은혜의 빛이 우리에게 비춰지길 기도합니다.

1. 유스부 금요모임이 매주 금요일 오후 7시에 있습니다. 이번주는 스포츠데이로 모입니다. 교회에서 저녁먹고 산호제 고등학교 체육관으로 갔다가 9:30분에 돌아옵니다.

2. 10월 31일 CM 주관 Fall Festival 이있습니다. 유스부가이행사를위해돕습니다. 많은참여있도록도와주시면감사하겠습니다.
