-1st Sunday of Advent-

Advent: Posture of Hope in Chaotic Times - Luke 21:25-36

As we enter the Advent season, we’re invited to more than the warm glow of Christmas lights and gifts, and the comforts of holiday nostalgia. The Bible reminds us that Advent is a season of watching, awakening, and preparing our hearts for Jesus Christ who came in humility and who will come again in glory. In a world shaken by uncertainty, Jesus calls us not to numb ourselves with distractions, but to lift our heads with hope, trusting that God is at work even when the world feels cold and chaotic.

Please join us this Advent Sunday as we look for the signs of God’s Kin-dom breaking through, as we pray for our hurting world, and as we stand ready with courage and compassion. May our worship this season awaken us to the true light that no darkness can overcome.

-대림절 첫째 주일-

대림절: 혼란 속 희망의 자세 — 누가복음 21:25-36

대림절을 맞이하였습니다. 한가지 기도하는 것은 우리 유스들이 크리스마스 장식이 주는 따뜻함이나 크리스마스 선물에 대한 기대감으로 무엇을 받을까만 생각 하는 것이 아니라, 깨어 기다리며 마음을 준비하라는 말씀을 들을수 있길 원합니다. 성경은 예수님께서 겸손히 오신 첫 번째 오심을 기억하고, 영광 가운데 다시 오실 주님을 소망하는 계절임을 일깨워 줍니다. 세상이 불확실함으로 흔들릴 때에도 예수님은 우리에게 여러 가지 분주함과 분산되는 것들에 마음을 빼앗기지 말고, 오히려 고개를 들어 소망을 품으라고 말씀하십니다. 세상이 차갑고 혼란스러워 보여도 하나님은 여전히 일하신다는 것을 믿으라고 하십니다.

이번 대림절 첫째 주일, 하나님의 나라가 드러나는 징조를 함께 바라보고, 고통받는 세상을 위해 기도하며, 용기와 사랑으로 준비된 마음을 함께 세워가길 기도합니다. 이 계절의 예배를 통해 어떤 어둠도 이길 수 없는 참빛을 우리를 향해 비춰 지고 있음을 느꼈으면 좋겠습니다. 함께 은혜의 자리로 나아가 소망을 붙잡는 우리 유스들 되기를 간절히 기도합니다.

1) 겨울 수련회 등록 마감을 하려고 합니다. 12월 첫째주일까지 수련회 장소에 최종 인원을 보내야 합니다. 변경할때마다 페널티가 있어서 이번주 내로 등록 도와 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
